Free Senior Nutrition Congregate Meal Locations in Los Angeles for Seniors 60+

You must be at least 60-years-old and prove it with California I.D. to be Eligible for a Free Senior Lunch subsidized by the Federal Government. However, there are No Income Requirements to be eligible for these meals, as its purpose is to get Seniors 60+  who may be  or could become “shut-ins” out of their homes to socialize and to have at least one very nutritional meal per day regardless of how much income they receive…

Although some sponsors of the Free Meal may ask you to make a Donation of $2.25 or less and you cannot afford any Donation at all, respectfully remind them of the fact that there is No Donation Required because they are subsidized by the Federal Government. There should also be a sign posted from the City or the County that No Donation is Required because the meal is Federally Subsidized. Even though there are No Income Requirements, this meal is meant to reach-out to Homeless and Non-Homeless Seniors 60+ with No Income or Low-Income.

If for any reason the Sponsor does not serve you because you did not make a Donation, or if there is not a sign posted that No Donation is Required, please contact Veterans News Service Los Angeles http://www.vnsla.com @ our email:  vnsla@yahoo.com
