Jewish War Veterans Thanks Hospitalized Veterans for Their Service on Christmas Day

LOS ANGELES, CA – Since 1946, and started by the late great entertainer Eddie Cantor, Jewish War Veterans of  The United States of America through their “A Gift For Yanks” Program has presented gifts to hospitalized Veterans on Christmas Day. https://vnsla.com/2015/12/18/agiftforyanksla2015/ 

Today, Christmas Day, December 25, 2015 at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, sponsored by the Allan H. Katz Jewish War Veterans Post #118 Santa Monica, over 60-Volunteers from all faiths distributed over 800 gifts to Veterans at the Main Hospital, the 2-Nursing Homes, the Veterans Home of California, and several Transitional Housing Programs on that Campus.

It was gratifying to all the Volunteers to see the surprised and grateful look on the hundreds of hospitalized Veterans faces when they received their unexpected gifts and visits from Volunteers.
