Military Religious Freedom Foundation

“When one proudly dons a U.S. Military uniform, there is only one religious symbol: the American flag. There is only one religious scripture: the American Constitution. Finally, there is only one religious faith: American patriotism. – Mikey Weinstein”

The Foundation says it has been approached by more than 38,000 service personnel, veterans or civilian defence workers with complaints about violations of their freedom to believe or not to believe, and 96% of these complaints come from Christians, many of them disturbed by extremist readings of their own faith which are being imposed on them in some way.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that all members of the United States Armed Forces fully receive the Constitutional guarantees of religious freedom to which they and all Americans are entitled by virtue of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.
