A bad ‘Choice’ for Veterans

In 2014, Congress created Veterans Choice, a program designed to end long – and sometimes deadly – medical wait times for former servicemembers. It was a noble goal. But as our latest investigation explains, Veterans Choice has been roundly criticized for failing to live up to its promise. Rather than fixing a broken system, it actually made things worse in some places.
